FYI: Dog recovered. Medical was paid. All is good. ;) - Original post: If we all donate a little something, even $10, we can ensure Timber receives all medical care he needs and take care of this ridiculous bill! PLEASE OPEN YOUR HEART...and wallet (wink wink)!!! Visit: http://pawchicboutique.com/store/WsAncillary.asp?ID=37

We are desperate on this one. Times are tough for all of us but together, a little goes a long way!!! The hospital (as of December 31, 2008) is no longer accepting credit card donations...but we still desperately need $3,000 for his medical fees so please, if you'd like to help - donate a gift by making a check out to: PawChic (subject line: Timber's Medical) and mail to: 9190 W. Olympic Blvd. box 270; Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Please help, $9,600 is a HUGE financial burden and in this economy, it is impossible for a modest household to pay. • Im sorry this happened but I had to pay 4 grand to save my dog from parvo. Everybody gets into tight spots, but why should just one person benefit from these donations? This seems very selfish. My dog is having tremoors from what I believe to be some kind of poison reaction right now, so my cure is TLC because thats what I can afford currently.

  • @xDemonFillyx It's nice that you acknowledge your "sorrow" for this dog's situation, but it is you that sounds a bit selfish. When one of our children is sick, in danger and needs help - a self-LESS person reaches out & does what they have to do to care for the innocent & suffering life. They do this despite pride & it sounds as if you are jealous that this family was responsible enough to reach out to me, & thus received help. Perhaps you should shallow pride and get your poor sick dog help.

  • Ok that neighbor needs to die, but aren't there more needy starving people out there that need your money?

  • @oddersisadog - I'm perplexed by your question. A starving animal is a starving animal and as one individual, I can not help the world so I choose to help starving, abused, abandoned & helpless canine animals in my area. The human animal is more capable of taking care of themselves. There are facilities they can go to of free will to obtain help/food & groups that go to them. Canines are bred by humans- not given any free will or options. They are 100% dependent on us so my $ goes to them

  • So the neighbor came in your backyard and gave your dogs poison? Were the cops called? It sounds really suspicious. I have a hard time believing that story.

  • @PipersGrip - If you read the full story on his linked page, or as the video states, this was not in my home's backyard - my property is too well protected for such a cruel crime to occur. Timber was one of many rescues, which is why I stepped in to help again when he was hospitalized. Snail bait was fed to him to be exact - and yes, that is poison. The police were most definitely called and detectives picked up the investigation. As I stated above, we all have a hard time believing cruelty.

  • @PawChic if i were u i would go to the neighbors house and kill their dogs in front of there faces tht wht i did when they poison my cute 4 months old pitbull he was so cute but he died now i well never regret wht they did to my doggie so i killed there dog

  • we need to die we already spelled our own extintion

  • so happy that dog is alive so sad that happend it kills me that happend hope he or she is still alive

  • @PawChic my poor sick dog made it just fine, dont know what was wrong with her but shes fine now. Bad things happen everyday, and there are not enough selfless people to go around. In my experience people only care about one person, themselves, so that being said, Im not gonna rely on someone else to help me, because chances are they DONT CARE

  • @PawChic I wouldn't say innocence lol. I would believe it if it was some creep stranger that poisoned the dogs. I just had a hard time believing a neighbor would do such a thing. I could understand if the dogs were in the neighbor's yard and he poisoned it, but to come over vindictively is something foreign to me. My neighbor did kill my cat once, but that was because it was killing his chickens. And, I brought my dog to a concert once and it was poisoned there by a stranger. I can't believe ppl
