This is a scene-by-scene explanation of my episode idea for Shake It Up. The episode features the main Shake It Up cast (Bella Thorne (CeCe Jones), Zendaya (Rocky Blue), Adam Irigoyen (Deuce Martinez), Roshon Fegan (Ty Blue), Davis Cleveland (Flynn Jones), Kenton Duty (Gunther Hessenheffer and young Gary), Caroline Sunshine (Tinka Hessenheffer and young Miss Rice), Buddy Handleson (Henry Dillon) Brandon Johnson (Gary Wilde), Anita Barone (Georgia Jones), and Jamie Kaler (Gordon Lessor).

Shake It Up is an American television sitcom airing on Disney Channel in the United States. The series premiered on November 7, 2010. Created byChris Thompson and starring Bella Thorne and Zendaya, the show follows the adventures of CeCe Jones (Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya) as they star as background dancers on a local show, "Shake It Up Chicago." It also chronicles their misadventures on- and off-set, and their troubles and rising social status at school. Davis Cleveland, Roshon Fegan, Adam Irigoyen and Kenton Duty also co-star in the series. The show's original concept was for Disney to create a female buddy comedy, only with a dance aspect. The dance concept is Disney's third original series, after The Famous Jett Jackson and Sonny with a Chance, to use a show-within-a-show format.

Short summary:
A substitute PE teacher gives CeCe & Rocky a B in dancing, even though they were expecting an A. When they ask the teacher why they didn't get an A even though they're on a dance show, the teacher reveals she still hates, and loves, Gary Wilde after he broke her heart in high school. In order to get an A, CeCe & Rocky set up a date with their teacher and Gary.
Meanwhile, Henry gives a presentation about Buddhism and Flynn is really into it.

Full synopsis:
CeCe & Rocky get Bs for dancing in PE. Even though they agree they don't need a good grade in PE to know that they're good dancers, they still don't understand how they can be on a dance show and still only get a B. When they ask their teacher about it, she reveals she was in love with Gary when they were in high school, but he broke her heart. If CeCe & Rocky can set them up on a date, they'll get As.
They tell Gary they found someone who wants to go on a date with him, but they don't tell her who she is. After seven canceled dates Gary takes a chance and goes on a date with their teacher. On the night of the date, he realizes they haven't told him her name. When they say it's Miss Rice, he's worried about it being Nikki Rice. She was Nutty Nikki in high school, and had a huge crush on Gary, but she was a little crazy. He wants to bail, but then she arrives.
The date goes horribly wrong because Nikki is still in love with Gary, and Gary tries to tell her it's not happening. After being heartbroken again, she gives CeCe & Rocky Ds.
When Gordon Lessor, their real PE teacher is feeling better again, CeCe tells him the whole story only to find out the substitute teacher was never supposed to grade them.

B-Story:
Henry comes to Flynn's school to give a presentation on a world culture; Buddhism. Flynn is really interested in it, and when they tell Deuce about it he's really interested in it too. After a few days, Flynn and Henry lose interest, and Deuce is disappointed. However, when he gets a call from Dina about selling fake x-ray glasses, he forgets all about Buddhism and goes back to conning.

B. CeCe would care about a grade on her dancing. She's offended 'cause she knows she's good.

C. So instead of doing something better, why are you wasting even more time commenting on this?

@Randomragekyla I know there are some similarities to Sweat It Up, but there are a lot of differences and I wrote this before Sweat It Up came out. I actually had to change a lot 'cause in my original script it wasn't a substitute teacher, it was their real teacher. But then Sweat It Up came out and their teacher was a guy, so I had to change that.
