  • "The more cartrages a video game system plays, the more fun it is."

Atari overlooked something very important with that statement, namely the quality of the games on the cartrages.

  • "Karateka" = "Carrotickah"???

  • @Sammyt3hSnake

    Proper Japanese: kah-RAH-teh-kah?

  • @Nintendavin True. Although I prefer the Atari versions of a lot of the games (Xevious was more challenging, Centipede had it's best port on the 7800, and Asteroids is Asteroids, what else needs to be said?), their original games were usually crap. Scrapyard Dog can't hold a candle to Super Mario Brothers, and they didn't even have anything to compete with Zelda. Although a homebrew Zelda would be fun..

The best system of that era was the SMS.

  • More shovelware games for half the price seeing as our games are only half as good as Nintendo's!

  • 30 years later comes the xbox live.

  • Looks like a fun console.

  • Ok, Atari, you have us there. The 7800 has more games at half the price.

You should have also added "You get what you pay for"

  • more jaguar than 5200 i think

  • Actually, it did make them money. I think the less succesful would be either the Atari 5200 or the whole jaguar fiasco.

  • the less successful atari console

  • Looks promising I want one looks alright -_-
