  • beautiful !

  • Despite the hissy recording this represents to me everything about the sound the harp ahould have: Nothing spikey or thin. A beautiful full, bell like sound. Naoko Yashino demonstrates here how SOLID her rhythm, tone, phrasing and taste is. There is barely a scratch or buzz throughout the whole piece. It's a big, voluptuous sound, with bags of energy, volume, command of the notes and a fabulously musical performance. I have no idea why this clip doesn't have thousands more hits. A real gem!
