I know this may be a pretty dated video, but those things done by the Austin city council to screw-up Austin has been going on for such a long time, this particular example is just the same.
Going back 30 years ago with the incredible tax credits to lure all the high-tech industries to Austin comes to mind. People would now argue that it was a great move that brought in lots of jobs, etc. but the fact is that 9 out of 10 new jobs went to people who had to move in from elsewhere. -continued
