"Inseprable" Chapter 7

I dove under the water just before she reached me and pulled the box out of my pocket. I fumbled two little objects out of their
slots and held them in the palm of my hand tightly so I wouldn't lose them. We weren't far out so I could sit on the ocean floor
without much difficulty and I pulled her down with me.
I held one of her hands in mine and began to swim until we were far enough out that the other two wouldn't notice us and then I
leaned forward and kissed her lightly while I carefully slipped a pure silver ring over her finger.
She gasped as we pulled away and looked down at her hands. There it was in all its shiny glory as well as the one that I had placed
on my finger.
I pulled them both off and held them together so she could see the etchings on the inside. On hers it said, I Promise To Be, and on mine it said,
To Be With You Forever.
She smiled widely at me and hugged me close, our wet bodies sliding slightly as the waves shifted around us.
I noticed Kevin looking around and decided we should probably get back to where they were so I kissed her again, letting our tongues dance with
each other before I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me back to my brothers.
"Where have you two been?" Nick asked when we got there.
"I've been tickling her." I laughed. Accompanied by Kevin who knew better.
"Oh. Aww, and I missed it." he chuckled before lunging forward and tickling her himself. "There, now I'm good."
We discovered then just how hard it was to laugh while under water then. Well, Nick did anyway when Eleanor dunked him, with mine and
Kevin's help.
"Hey, that was just wrong." he stuck his tongue out at us and began swimming out a little farther.
Kevin started to follow with Eleanor not far behind until I grabbed her ankle and motioned under the water. We sank to the bottom onto
our knees and I kissed her again, but deeply this time. I ran my fingers through her drenched hair as it floated out around her body.
Before we rose up again I pointed to my chest, then made a heart with my hands, then pointed to her which made her grin even more
before she motioned the same thing except adding the sign for 2 at the end.
I intertwined my fingers with hers and we pushed back up to the surface and made our way to Kevin and Nick, fairly slowly. Everytime we went under
we would share a quick, soft kiss, unable to resist every opportunity given to us.
"You two are lagging today." kevin joked.
"Hey, I can't help it, the water is just so nice today." I grinned. Even though the water was freezing as always.
"Ha." Nick made a face and pushed me under.
"I'll get you for that." I stated, chasing him even farther out from the beach.
"They never change." kevin commented.
"Never." Eleanor responded.
"So, I know about you and Joe, and I think its great."
She blushed and turned away from him.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I think he's been waiting for this for a very long time."
"You think so?"
"Considering your all he ever talked about since we met you all those years ago. Yes."
She blushed at that but couldn't resist hugging Kevin.
"I just can't believe its me he always wanted."
"Oh yes. Just like you wanting him."
"You could tell?"
"It was pretty obvious." he responded.
"Really? Always?"
"Pretty much. Just not to Joe, or Nick. But it's Nick." He joked.
We stopped laughing just as they found their way back to us.
"What's so funny?" Nick asked.
"Oh...Nothing." I giggled.
"You know, the giggling always gives you away." I prodded.
"Unfortunately. But that doesn't mean I'm going to tell you." she pushed my shoulder playfully.
"I'm sure I could find a way." I laughed, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her down with me.
