@siempremarisol Yes, that's true. But lesbianism wasn't uncommon in Europe. However, the intimacy with Hitler was an event that actually changed history. She stated that, though ambivalent about the Nazis and the war, that event created a feeling that turned into hatred for both. That hatred motivated her development of the spread-spectrum technology. Oddly, the U.S. military passed it over, never utilizing it during the war.

@20alphabet she said in her book of memories she did have sex with ladys too

sorry but she the source was a ghost written novel that if you actually have read it which I did does not match her history, personality, or poltical leanings and it the only "autobiography" ever to have been created to her. She did not write it and it did not happen. Hedy did not sleep with Hitler and was opposed to the Nazis and what they did in Austria. Her husband at the time was in "bed" with the Nazis as a arms dealer. get your facts straight.

@thoostorm4 You have over 10,300 views since 2010, many about space aliens, and you call someone ELSE a moron with no life??? Good grief, the world is full of interesting characters!

@annpham I know you're a nice person, and you'll have happy upcoming holidays.
Are you okay, Sweetie ? Listen, we've ALL done things under duress that we wish didn't happen, and I know the event with Adolf Hitler was forced upon her which is why she ran away to America. That's the way I view it and I'm sure her son does too. Visit my channel and look at my favorites and you'll understand the perspective. Also, Happy Halloween !

@20alphabet ok this is my last response before filtering the unnecessary comments on this video. WOW find it very enjoyable the way you treat "your perspective" as the ultimate truth. Haha! Well if that's what you choose to believe, there's nothing more I can say, or care to say. Have a happy life! :)

@annpham I refer you to Devra Hill's book, "What Almost Happened to Hedy Lamarr" in which Hedy Lamarr HERSELF tells the story of having sex with Adolf Hitler, multiple marriages/divorces (one where the judge even reviled her promiscuity), shoplifting, etc. Obviously she is an idol to you, but she was also human. You do your subscribers and viewers no service by filtering out clean, trivial comments.

@20alphabet first of all, she's NOT my idol. I don't believe in the concept of having someone as my idol. I love Hedy Lamarr, both her bad and good sides. I don't stick with all her good ones. There are negative things about her I don't particularly approve as a model for myself, but that doesn't mean that I approve of false information. Second, I don't think the poorly written Devra's book worths anything more than trash. If you happen to like that book, fine. :)

@annpham For crying out loud, Google is not the source (do I really need to explain this?), Google references MANY separate sources for this event. Also, an autobiography is written by the subject, not ghostwritten. Simply put, it is a fact explained by Hedy herself. Look into it.

@20alphabet I did 10 years ago. I talked to Hedy's real life friends, interviewed her biographers, read a book written by her son which was never published when gathering information for my hedy website. I assure you, her autobio was ghost-written. Even if it wasn't, it never mentioned any interaction with Hitler. If you want to read some well-researched books on Hedy besides "Beautiful" check out "Hedy's folly" by Pulitzer Prize winner R. Rhodes, or "The Films of Hedy Lamarr" by C. Young.

@20alphabet THOSE are trustworthy, well-researched materials. Any information coming from any trashy but juicy source like the Devra Hill's book is off the table. And I covet to not discuss them any further.
