i got a laser light combo on my glock rail, i need not waste my time with "opinions" rather than tried and proven techniques, i got both hands on the gun 100% of the time, sorry... i'm in the new age, good luck with those old complicated tactics...

good question. i thought the same thing . but youre only exposing a small part of your body. remember the back light. the back light is only exposing your gun and hand. after that you can go into an fbi modified.

Second of all, QUICK DRAW, thats the key word. Pistol against AK, who wins? Depends on who can draw faster, and in low light sits, a powerful light like a Surefire (believe me, they are BRIGHT), it can be VERY painful for the guy with the AK. And one more thing, do you think these guys train some of our top military SF for no reason? I mean you probably haven't even been in the military.
