In 2003, I wrote and directed a short film called "Tiger: His Fall & Rise," starring Thomas Jay Ryan and the late Adrienne Shelly. It was about a rubber frog named Tiger who became an overnight success even though he only knew one song. Unfortunately after he achieved success, Tiger became a decadent and despicable frog and turned on the man who had helped him get to the top. The film was on its way to its well-deservied obscurity, when all materials were lost in the lab. The only evidence that the film existed was some footage crated by a documentary film crew. The director was Jose Casado and the interviewer was Olivia Fearless. who has since gone on to fame as the actress Jessica Jolly (she can currently be seen on YouTube starring as CC Brite). Nobody had much good to say about Tiger's acting abilities or personality. And they weren't too crazy about me as a director either, although they are friends, so maybe they were kidding. Still, as this short doc is all I have left for my efforts, I eventually cut some of it together into what you see here.
Great to see Tom Ryan and Adrienne Shelly together. We miss Miss Shelly and T. J. Ryan is onscreen FAR too seldom
