General Secretary of the Celtic League, Rhisiart Tal-e-bot, talks about setting up a Cornish language preschool. On Celtic League news Rhisiart tal-e-bot said:
"At the 2007 AGM the Celtic League passed a resolution, stating that it was looking forward to the creation of a bilingual Cornish and English preschool and that it supported attempts to establish the same through cooperation with individuals and other groups. At this point it was clear that nothing was yet happening to this end in Cornwall and as a trained primary and specialist infant teacher myself, working at that time within a bilingual infant programme in the Basque Country, I felt that I could help to contribute to the establishment of a bilingual preschool in Cornwall." • I like this, very positive approach to a neglected history and culture, however @3tangle, your comment is ridiculous.

  • brilliant nice to see the this keep it up kernow bys vyken

  • cornish and welsh...more tolerantand progressive culture than the anglo norman state by far :)

  • I agree with the other Cornish that have commented before me. Outstanding-better to have one man getting out there doing than an army of us talking about doing.

    Kernewek mar plek!

  • A contemporary Cornish hero, no less! More evidence of the tremendous bond of friendship, kinship and understanding between the closest of celtic cousins - the Welsh and the Cornish! To teach the young their true language is the noblest undertaking; instilling in them a sense of pride and honour which inherently grows as they do. I say again, well done that man!

  • Long live the Celtic people. It annoys me that there are people out there that deny the existance of a Celtic people.

  • Well done that man! We need more people like this.....

  • very good, very positive

  • What a great man!

  • Well done mate,

    Splaan Kernow bys vyken!
