the great NYC subway trains

heres some of my favorite trains from my favorite city. note to viewer: the train that have 4 doors and say chicago pictures are now owned by the chicago cta and used on the blue line they are over 40 years old.

yes but there are being retire in the next 5 years or so because most of them are 42 years old.

@muz469 My first visit to Chicago, I was so surprised at how much the subways looked like NYC's. Even the metrocard machines, and the cards themselves. I don't know exactly when NYC tore down or began tearing down the elevated subways within Manhattan.

@motorokr1 Those are the old cars from around the 1930s. Now, NYC runs them through the system around the Holiday season. I always miss it!
