I drew inspirations from Paul Spooner and Matt Smith's sit-up Anubis. I used a different mechanism to drive the torso up and down. The crank handle is in the shape of a dumbell and the sit-up bar is decorative and doesn't serve any real function. My second piece will do without the sit-up bar but instead have the knees bent and the heels placed flat on the platform.

  • Whew! All the exercise I need today.

    Faved it. : D

  • really cute! I do sit-ups just about as slowly!

  • Someone has too much wood, glue and time on their hands. But cool to watch, nonetheless.
