  • @bigblondman1 The Treaty of san fran technically did not give ownership of taiwan to the ROC, or anyone for that matter including the US

But the only government there is the ROC-*who the japanese in Taiwan surrendered to*

  • you need to look up the treaty of san fran.. the r.o.c., taiwan is a democratic government. the kmt is the majority party, but, the people vote in free elections to determine that. so the kmt is not a fascist dictatorship it once was in decades past. and according to the treaty of san fran 1951, legally, the u.s. holds the claims of taiwan in trust as a territory because the japs surrendered it to the u.s and renounced there sovreignty, but didnt name a successor to that sovereignty.

  • @bigblondman1 thats an absolute lie taiwan is still controlled by the KMT go look it up

  • @wtfpwned1234 so theres no one else there, just chinese?

  • @juron76 the japs surrendered to the u.s. in 1945. the r.o.c. accepted the surrender of occupation by the japs of taiwan by order of gen. mac arthur. the japs still had owner rights of taiwan until 1952. the treaty of san francisco is where the japs surrendered all claims to the u.s. so today taiwan is a u.s. customs territory under usmg adm. (us. military gov.) thats why communist china has never attacked taiwan and never will because theyd be starting a war with th u.s. thats a fact.

  • @wtfpwned1234

    Taiwanese language is minnan,hakka.right?

  • @BAIYUE1

    whats IS that taiwanese language???????

    sheesh

  • @wtfpwned1234

What do you think about that KMT force Taiwanese learn madarin in school and office instead of their mother language (taiwanese language)

  • @BAIYUE1

the han chinese that fled to taiwan makes up taiwan's population

China never tried to assimilate Taiwanese

they only want taiwan to be recognized as a part of China

    f@g.... check ur info

  • Actually,Han chinese from mainland will assimilate all of Taiwanese,to force taiwanese learn madarin.

And finally, lead Taiwan come back Mainland.

    I'm sure that.
