@ChemicalRave I agree... she tried to get into the character... but I didn't feel any emotion...

@actastmatthews Do your research-ALW didn't write Les Miserables. It was originally done by Cameron Mackintosh 26 years ago, on an adaptation of the Victor Hugo book of the same name! Danielle didn't choose this song to sing, it was given to her.

@actastmatthews He didn't write Les Mis.

@actastmatthews They dont have a chose what song they sing :)

@actastmatthews They didn't get to choose the songs they sang, I think. Until like the last show when they got to pick their best one to sing again.

I agree apart from the pretending bit near the end this was a really good performance from Danielle.
IMHO apart from the 'pretending' bit which was a bit shouty, i think she sang this song very well with all the emotion needed, and she acted the song by assuming the character. so i don't c y sum people say the performance was dreadful. 2 b honest i rather c a musical theatre performer b a brilliant actress but still sings very well (danielle), than a performer whos a brilliant singer but lacks on the acting side and doesn't put enough emotion in to songs.
