Urinary Incontinence that occurs with Overactive Bladder is often managed with diet/fluid adjustment or medication. If these strategies do not work, bladder neuromodulation with InterStim, can help control the abnormal sense of urgency, frequency and urge incontinence. This is different from stress urinary incontinence (SUI) which occurs with laughing, coughing, sneezing and exercise. SUI can be addressed with a "sling" procedure.
