Synopsis:

Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh (Shahrukh Khan) is a rescue pilot with the Indian Air Force. In the line of duty he comes across a stranded Zaara (Preity Zinta)... a girl from Pakistan who has come to India to fulfill her surrogate mothers dying wish.

Veer saves her life and his life is never the same again.

Twenty two years later Saamia Siddiqui (Rani Mukerji), a Pakistani human rights lawyer on her first case, finds herself face to face with an aging Veer Pratap Singh. He has languished in a Pakistan jail cell for 22 years and has not spoken to anyone all these years. And no one knows why. Her mission is to discover the truth about Veer and see to it that justice is served.

Veer-Zaara is a saga of love, separation, courage and sacrifice. A love that is divine, a love that is whole-hearted, a love that is completely consuming, a love that grows with separation & deepens with sacrifice. A love that is an inspiration... and will remain a legend forever.

    Dear my friend !!!

you are talking only about Indians and Pakistanis ? Did others aren't sharing the problem of this harsh wold ?

I am not an Indian person, But I am very happy, because I have seen here a very precious film, which i will never see in the future and have come too sad. I like sadness. Sadness is what we have a great impulse to regenerate our life.

Great time for both Pakistanis and Indians.

  • my friend is not even indian and is cold hearted, but even he cried at this part of the movie

  • Nice song.

  • I have never seen this emotional scene. It's really the first time. My boyfriend has already seen the film, and I have already listened the music. Unbreak my heart like Tony braxton, really, really, really. I would like to cry but I just can't anymore. I have already cried too much in my life for my first lover I danced with in the saloon of my grandmother, I saw coming from the house of my parrain a saturday the night wearing a white shirt who ask me to dance on the balcoon of my grandmother.
