@MrVacationLover Unless you think the kids might break the skimmer off the side you can leave it on the pool when in use. Otherwise like stated we just don't want the pump running when the pool is in use.

OK, I think I understand this, but do I have to remove the skimmer completely when the kids are in the pool?

No , bugger that , just maybe dont run pump.Safety precaution-but there is minimal suction anyway.Just make sure they dont kick and break the bracket!

@babs910 we suggest removing the skimmer and turning off the pump while the pool is in use.
