great share man, very informative :) i just installed linux on my ps3 console. its kind of hard tough but i found some great help from ps3magic i responded you with a video i think that may help everyone who has problems instaling linux on ps3. you can find ps3 magic at google just type ps3 magic. and boom there you go :) keep up

i believe you type boot-game-os when you get the kboot, or you could try it in the terminal.
if all else fails, turn off the ps3, and when you turn it on again, hold your finger on it untill you hear the ps3 beep again (roughly after 5 seconds) and let go, you will auto boot the game os
