there was a big fight in the market place down below the motorway between the cops and everyone else, I still have a fragment of broken wood from a vegetable crate that I took as a reminder; i must have been about 18. Also I remember a guy in a shopping trolley being smashed off the police lines and floating back to the crowd. It worked another couple of times till they grabbed him.
We got a load of speed and went to the Cue club where they let everyone on the demo in for free :D

Blimey, i remember those days. Actualy most of the demonstrators weren't dirty soap dodgers. most of them were very middle class and very clean. they just liked the allure of drugs and rebellion.
