RAW: Russian Airstrike Against Civilian Area

(August 9, 2008) A Russian Su-25 close-air-support aircraft bombed a civilian area in South Ossetia. Scenes include aftermath of Russian bombing and show wounded civilians walking around aimlessly, visibly stunned.

Sorry, How did you decide that is Russian airplane and territory of Georgia? Ossetian people say that Georgian troops were killed they people.

All aircraft have a tail markings, including Russian Su-25 jets. There are photos of this same attack showing a clearer image of a aircraft with Russian tail markings bombing this location, hence, the accusation I put forward in the video description. I don't take sides, I'm merely reporting facts.

OK. This is a Russian airplane. If Georgia didn't killed civilian people in South Ossetia this airplane wasn't there. And you know. I heard more different opinion.. Russian, Georgian, Ossetian, Americans ext. and I saw more video of this war. I think Saakashvili started this war because Candoleezza Rice said him. USA always is against Russia. Isn't it?... Only USA and Russia separate something in this world..

There are photographs of the same jet bombing this location that show the tail numbers of the Russian jet. That is how we know it is a Russian Su-25.

Russia has been seeding Ossetia with Russian Settlers since 1989 and this was always a setup since Georgian Independence. Russia threatens to invade any country that won't give them what they want. They just threatened Ukraine over Sevastopol and Poland over the Missile Shield.Prague in 1968 is their plan for the world but now they have the money to do it with slick schemes to justify their bullshit.I hope they are frozen to death in another ice age

If any nation attacks and kills soldiers and citizens of another country then that country has every moral right to retaliate as Russia chose to do.

Russia wasnt threatening Georgia or seeking to take their land. Why would they? Russia is the largest country in the world and has the most mineral reserves in the world. What is so special about Georgia that Russia wants the land?

@AK49Gunner I would say YOU are a fool. The Russians had peackeepers stationed in Ossetia because the Georgians attempted ethnic cleansing there in early 90's. Those Russian peackeepers were legally stationed there under multi party agreements!

Then all of a sudden the Georgians attack and kill these peackeepers and you dare say that Georgia didnt start this war? Why did the Georgians use rocket batteries to pound Tsinvali city? It can only lead to civilian death.

Georgia used Russian Jets, too! So where's the proof that this one was flown by Russian Pilots? And even if this was a Russian Pilot he didn't attack Civilians...he killed Georgian Soldiers! Why should Russia kill South Ossetians...what a nonsense.
