@moother888 Whether they work or not is irrelevant. We are either free human beings who own our own bodies, or we are cattle owned by governments. A free human being makes their own choices - sometimes bad ones.

But these power-mad jackasses in "government" make poor choices into "crimes." Sometimes they make GOOD choices into "crimes." The reality is that unless one human being violates the life, liberty, or property of another human being, there is no "crime" at all.

@scoocheeful Its like laws and tools set up to protect. Potentialy great some of them but whenever a tyrant takes control, a corrupt police officer, or anyone in government that might not be fully honest then there is no better place to be than in government. And no worst place to be than the public. Hitler and every dictator thats ever existed has set up laws to "protect" us. And we all know how laws like that have played out for those dictators.

@no2religions I note you sidestep the issue of premeditated medical harm.

Nice that youy acknowledge that medicines are often taken from plants, actually compounds are still directly extracted & some used raw, like opium.

But what you're now saying is that your precious pharma drugs owe their existence to plants, as we know a plant cant be patented but a toxic concoction can.

The choice is actually medicine that serves the people, or medicine that serves the medical & pharmaceutical industry.

@no2religions While I'm at it I might as well give you the list at ssristories. com/index.php of the 1000's of deaths & suicides related to prozac, 27 deaths linked to it BEFORE its release, 1986 FDA safety review also discovered that Lilly had failed to report information about the onset of psychotic episodes in people during Prozac's testing, and you think it's unforeseen..lol.

Yet if a herb is so much as implicated in the tiniest harm it's banned.

@scoocheeful "If herbs are a scam then how is it that thousands of medicines are extracts of herbs" First, that is to the credit of modern medicine, not herbalism. And generally they are not extracts but compounds identified and then synthesized. A process herbalists had a 100,000 years to come up with. Not me mention that WHY something does or doesn't work is important, again, something a herbalist can't know.

The choice is between good medicine and bad, not big pharma and superstition.

Patent #4,929,437 , look it up, it's patent for a co-enzyme Q10 Statin combination, yet the version of statin alone was released, that isn't unforeseen it's called premeditated.

As for blood letting, well that was the practice of doctors not herbalists as was leeching , which they STILL do.

@NicosMind Totally, I've got one of those cameras at the end of my street, there for our "safety". Fine if we believe that our government is benign, but when our government is progressively acting in ever more totalitarian ways then the potential of those cameras becomes ever darker.

@scoocheeful What made you think that I was under the impression that modern medicine was without disaster? What you are listing are unforeseen outcomes. My problem (S)CAM is that it doesn't generally doesn't have ANY measurable outcomes. Europe once had only "tradition medicine". You don't see too many blood letting and exorcisms any more. Why do you suppose that it?

@scoocheeful Sad thing is that yes we are the human farm animal to these people. The toys that believe that theyre "free range" when the reality is that even free range animals are still in a prison. Especially here in the UK with our 1000s of cameras tracking our movements. I had a motorbike stolen and asked the police station that has cameras facing down my street did they catch him, what happened etc. They pretended(as they do to everyone) that they werent on. Hardly there for our protection

@NicosMind The reality is that government as it currently exists is entirely illegal, it exists by creating the illusion of authority, authority has to come from the people & if a person wants to take dope or eat a flower it is their born right to do so, to arrest or sanction them for doing so is totalitarian & means the person is an object subject to the will of others, maybe we should just have tattooed numbers.

@moother888 So chinese medicine isn't called medicine then?? and to chinese people it is isn't the form of medicine they acknowledge first, a medical system built up over thousands of years.

Or Ayurvedic medicine, again built up over thousands of year of trial & error, known to work by billions who use it, yet both banned without ANY proof of dangers to the public.

Before our corrupt medical industry got a free tax paid lunch all we had was herbalism, but now that's banned & all for profit.
