Well what about the BT46B (Fan Car) ;) Lauda beat even the Lotus 79 in this Brabham... And yes - it was legal in that race...
Miss also the Brabham BT52B and John Watson's '76 Penske + Wolf WR1. And from the 90s the Jordan 191 - what a beauty! Modern F1? OMG....

Respectfully disagree- I just don't like the fussiness of any 1970s designs. The turbos cleaned up aesthetics a lot. Modern ones look odd to me, I reckon the best looking bodies were between 1985-1995. The '60s machines were pretty little deathtraps!

Its hard to find an ugly F1 car from the old days, no problem now. I think there is an F1 car we all overlook and that is the Wolf. Revisit them and I think you will see some really beautiful F1 cars.

@gaisarbast The Lotus 79 was, and still is one of the best cars to ever grace the sport! It absolutely dominated the '78 season, no other team stood a chance that year! ... And yes, it is one of the best looking F1 cars ever built :D
