Added notes to this one. Seen them in other's covers and thought they were helpful. Similar to Adam's pedal board I have a flange, delay, and EQ in one loop controlled by a line selector. However, I also use my Boss GT-3 multi-pedal when I just need delay, flange, or flange w/ delay. This is how I can turn on/off the delay outside of the line selector loop...because I have two :). This is just how I do it with the gear that I have...

The guitar volume is way out front to easily distinguish me from the track. Few small timing errors as usual...I always get so nervous. I've tried to hit the wine before a cover, but then I can't play, lol. I don't know what the hell that was at :48. I'll play through an error when trying to record if it's early on. You never know when the rest of the song will turn out decent enough for an upload :). Flipping on the effects for feedback at 2:16 could have been a bit smoother.

Love this song...always been a favorite of mine. However, it's also been one of the most difficult for me to play. The timing is tough and there is lots of "counting". I played a few parts different than the studio track, as I like how Adam plays the song live. Here's a great video of The Patient live:

The part beginning at 4:44 is particularly interesting and I tried to play it this way as best I could.

@anomosity101 Well, I just turned 40 (yuck) and I've been playing on/off since I was 8. Only the last couple of years have I been playing a lot...you can see I've gotten a bit better since my first few videos :). It's a SD JB SH-4 in the bridge. You can see a whole gear list on my channel. Cheers.

@ValeriCFBG Thanks! Guess I kind of take that for granted now, but messing around with effects while playing was something that took a long time to get comfortable with. That's at least one thing that these covers have taught me that I wouldn't have learned on my own so well.
