The top NATO commander in Afghanistan is asking for thousands of more troops in the country. U.S.. General Stanley McChrystal calls the situation in Afghanistan serious and, in some areas, deteriorating. His outspoken remarks led Defense Secretary Robert Gates to warn that military advice to President Barack Obama should be provided "candidly, but privately" The U.S. invaded Afghanistan in 2001 to oust the Taliban and deny a safe haven to al-Qaida after the September 11 attacks. Jennifer Glasse reports for VOA from London that General McChrystal and the new head of the British army agree that NATO needs to win the trust of the Afghan people for the mission to succeed.
@zamakanoon brother dont say mujahidin geting paid from their own poket mujahidin is tha hole game they geting paid by american's so all this fasaad be there while they take every single natural resources from afghanistan.plz aware ur self of 9/11 insid job and a man dosnt exist and his group osama and alqaida.thers one group of people out of ten whos figthing for this country and doin jihad but no body knos them who they are.the enemy is too smart .. . . they set up the game.

mujahideen pay from thei own pocket to join the war so how woud u pplz win a war against those who rush to the battel ground while paying from their own pockets
