@jfbegley For the record, he said the first time he saw Jimi Hendrix it was on the news and he was burning his guitar. (paraphrasing) "There was no music, just noise", meaning feedback in the amps only. Considering he's burning the guitar, that would make sense.
The Yngwie-hater crowd now take that out of context and claim Yngwie was talking smack about Hendrix. He idolizes him to this day.

I added some hall reverb to give a little more depth to Yngwie's tone here...sounds great and I heard some stuff from him that reminded me of why I fell in love with his playing over 20 years ago...
