Freestyle Groovin', and a lil' Talkboxin'

This is just me freestylin' w/ the banshee and my boards. I throw in a lil bit of Troutman (R.I.P) and a snippet of one of my tracks at the end. Tell me what you think! I'm an ear player, so give me some ideas or tell me what u wanna hear and I'll put up some more vids! -oh and please excuse the crappy video quality, ima upgrade soon i promise...

Wassup man? I purchased a Digitech talker and you just need a mic (don't like nothing in my mouth but food and drink)... The 2nd part of your performance was hitting!! Once I get my set up I will post some myself!! I purchased my talker the same weekend Roger Troutman was killed!! Met him in Germany !! He was the master of the Talkbox!!!!

That, my friend, is a wonderful piece of musical equipment called the "talkbox". You plug a guitar or keyboard into it, and the sound plays into your mouth. You then shape your mouth to make it sound like the instrument is talking.

1- invest in a half-decent camera

2- plug your keyboard / mixer direct into your camera - so we don't hear your fingers hitting the keys

3- thats the first time i've ever seen anyone use that breath-controller thing

The voice thing is a talkbox, and it's not software or midi, it's just regular audio, so it's compatible with reason. there are a few videos on how to make them on youtube, you could look them up and make one yourself. I did that, and it works great.

No, that was no joke... I don't like chords through a talkbox because they sound mono and the talkbox is overdriven and saturates. I think it's best to record 'em separately. That's also why I don't like the talkbox played with a guitar. But again, there's no rules and everybody is free to do whatever pleases his ears.

Was this a joke about playing chords mocheez? I do it a loT!! Could you check out "Let's See It Bounce" and "Treat Me Like I'm New?" I don't have the "good" equipment but I was able to pull it off!!
