FOX and Christopher Titus butted heads over season 4, FOX wanted him and 'Erin' to divorce and since Christopher and his wife were still together and in love he didn't want that in season 4 since it didn't come from any aspect of his real life which is what the series is basically about. Instead of revising the plot FOX just decided to cancel the show.
