  • I spent $149.99 on my PB yesterday. Two years ago i paid over $700 for my ipad. I use my PB more than my heavy clunky ipad.

  • @Tom2736

I disagree. The PB is still quite useful even without all of these apps. In time, these apps will come onto the market and yes I am aware that some PB apps do cost more than their Android/iPhone counterpart but that's not really an issue because they're cheap anyway.

  • I would never buy a blackberry

  • Definetly a great tablet, it has 1080p video recording. Apple claims that their devices have "stunning HD video recording" but the most youre gonna get is about 480p. Im sure it will improve A LOT with Update 2.0 too, and while it does take a while to turn on, its nothing compared to how long my ipod touch used to take to turn on, the playbook takes about 45-60 seconds to turn on, give or take.

  • the only thing going for playbook is the screen and possibly the speakers, it takes forever to turn on compared to say my computer, digital camera.. ect , there's no way to plug into say a USB and just use it without touching the battery , lets hope the apps we get with android save this and the boot time , nothing will help the static camera either i can go on forever.. but enough of this good for blackberry they didnt sell like they thought and if we dont buy something the price drops

  • The Playbook is Amazing, Love it! Now it got even Better!!

  • Many of my friends now have the playbook because of the price reduction. And they won't be getting another tablets any time soon. That's spending money originally saved for the Ipad that's now gone to RIM. I think this was a good move on the Part of RIM to 'get the hardware out there'. Software enhancements can follow later. I use the playbook for music videos I downloaded off youtube. It is very handy to have in the car. It also plays youtube videos via wifi very well.

  • @VANDRO81 yes - and no flash on ipad!!

  • I think its going to be very useful to be able to use your BB smartphone to operate the Playbook by remote control.. This will enable you to move the cursor around on the PB screen/TV, for example, if you have it connected to your flatscreen TV via HDMI cable you can surf the net and playback iPlayer, youtube etc or any other media you have on your TV - neat!!

  • @Tom2736 HA the same copy and paste post thats in many playbook videos. Why do you troll youtube and post anti RIM shite >? what a goof.

  • @Tom2736 we have andoid apps...
