I'm flat chested, and always have been, I'm 17, where are my boobs? Men prefer large chests, you see them on Sports Illustrated and Playboy. When was the last time you saw a flat chested woman on those magazines? Never, I'll tell you! Why are boobs attractive to men? They're just fat! Same fat as love handles. Why? It seems only paedos like flat chests!

@angelafromcanada Of course track stars are winners, (being a winner is attractive) so perhaps endowment as it were isn't too important. The people we see are often larger than we're supposed to be so perhaps what you consider to be small (in size generally, not just chests) is actually quite typical for the human species. // We could also see men tending towards flat chested women not "because" they are flat chested but because they are sporty, fit, active, healthy etc.. DC

@diabolusdc I see. All the track stars are flat chested. And skinny is preferred, most flat chested women are skinny. Another reason breasts are getting bigger is hormones in food and we are getting fatter.

I wasn't always a vegetarian. And I stopped drinking dairy milk maybe a couple months ago. So maybe diet doesn't have much to do with it. If there were such a miracle food, no one would get implants.

@angelafromcanada Evolutionary trade offs and balances occur in all manner of different ways.. perhaps a smaller chest is still fit for purpose (and gets bigger when pregnant anyway) giving a good offspring survival chance at the same time as not being too much of a burden in terms of the amount of nutrition required to grow/maintain it or even obstructing mobility and other daily tasks. That would be my best guess for what it's worth.

@diabolusdc Interesting. But why are there still flat chested women? You would think that gene would have disappeared. I guess because there are other cultures and maybe flat chests might be attractive to them.
