  • China purchased around 160 S-300 batteries from Russia since early 1990s. There is no limit for propaganda of slit eyed bastards about their so called indigenous capability. In April 2010, Russia delivered another 15 S-300 SAM batteries. LOL.

  • i hv heard dat these missiles r capable of carring nuclear payload as well...but can these missiles destroy incoming cruise missiles???

  • yes, but cruise missiles have to be detected with satellites, AWACS and low level powerful tracking radars first.

Yes, Akash can do the job like India's AAD, Spyder and Barak 8 missiles

  • Kashsoldier. How much is India military spending for 2009? Would india be buying any USA made fighter jets this year?

  • well, it depends on the requirement of the military. Government allocates around 30 to 35 billion dollars every year.

  • Interesting combination of the originally 2K12 Kub (SA-6) 3M9M3 missile with the changed guidance method and completely new search and track and guidance radar and electro-optics (with the shown thermal imagery it is anti-stealth capable). In concept it is a smaller and cheaper "S-300" with the missile limitation compared to the S-300s missiles (but without cold vertical launch, smaller speed and range). I think that India has chosen very good approach of not inventing already invented.

  • India>China! As an American I support India's military buildup, and condemn China's. China is a communist country and should be treated as such; did we condone the USSR's massive military buildup?

  • @kashsoldier Yeah. Its the same way they make duplicate Rolex watches :-)

  • @Vlaudeimirz

    RAJENDRA RADAR

  • everyone say missile is great , or aicractf is great

but i say RADAR is the the very complex of all

  • @kashsoldier
