do u think is better to buy a used fender strat or a new squier??

Is your guitar plugged in?
If so, it's sooo low! Turn up the amp!
I can hear the strings louder than the amp if it's turned on at all...

I think the amp needs turning up , but still a nice guitar.
JMGavin3rd (what ??), anyway . JM whatever is obviously uneducated in the history of these guitars, and i bet he thinks if you put a Fender badge on a plank, then it is a masterpiece. A lot of people are just badge snobs.

@AleCaeser It plays ok on my PC speakers. Seems some people hear it well and others don't.

Nice playing, nice guitar.I've got a mid '80s 'E' series Korean with a maple neck, solid body is routed for singles,Fender stamped saddles, US chunky trem block,Gotoh tuners. The pups weren't that great so i've just put in a set of USA standards and the difference is awesome.
These guitars are the dogs danglies, they play like butter, made of all the right stuff and they're dirt cheap...GET ONE.
Remember to get an 'E' series, the others, especially the 'S'series are probably plywood.

I got this E series in a pawn shop a log time ago. My tuners and saddles are stamped with Fender. Was once told these modles were made with some leftover Fender strat parts. Not sure if it's true or not.
Been thinking about new pickups, glad to hear they will make a big difference!
