US President Barack Obama is 50 today.
His debt battle with the Republicans behind him, he celebrated with singer Jennifer Hudson and supporters at a 2012 campaign fundraiser in Chicago.
"When we are working together and we are joining hands, black and white and Hispanic and Asian and Native American and gay and straight; when the American people join together, we cannot be stopped," he told an audience of 2,400 at a music auditorium.
