In 1979, (sorry, I thought it was 1978... the mind is the first to go!) I worked at Geauga Lake Park in Aurora, Ohio. I played bass in a country music show called "That Nashville Sound"
Special thanks to Roseanne, Roseann, Tom, John, Barry, Bob and Alan for all the fun!

  • Wow... I played trombone in the Geauga Lake Palace Theater band that year (Singin' on '79). Thanks for uploading this. The singers in this show (Roseanne and... sorry, can't remember!) were high school classmates of mine.

  • What a great video and memories of the Theater. I was a teen in the late 70's and would go to Geauga Lake every year a couple times. Being that young all I ever thought about was riding the rides but do remember seeing and hearing this show as I walked on by that area.

  • I miss the Gold Rush... I worked the radio controlled boats that were across the midway from the Theatre around 1990 and the show didn't change that much... I must have heard the show 1000+ times that year and hoped I was going to be able to forget it at the time, now I miss it. This is a wonderful video! Thanks for sharing!

  • hi don....this is a great little trip down memory lane......fender amps, sure mics, and lots of rehearsal. very enjoyable, chuck p.
