I actually like typing, Maybe it's an extension of playing bass guitar for 20 years and knowing how to get a rhythm going with my hands, as opposed to tripping over my words speaking out loud. Having said that, I am proudly wearing my Nuance Dragon t-shirt right now, because I work at HP and package a gazillion of those a day. :)

it is truly fantastic software I am typing this comment now with Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 11 it is nearly 200% faster than my current typing speed and allows me to do essays exceptionally quickly it allows me to free up more time to do what I really want to do.

@david1234501 yes sometimes but it gets smarter and smarter the more you use it it's already extremely accurate right out of the box if it does make a mistake you can tell it to correct it and it will learn from it every time you do so I've been using it for three days now and it just keeps getting smarter and smarter. It's a real time saver.

@dinodom1 yes it does almost anything you can imagine. You can browse the web with it. Great word documents Obviously. I use it on Skype in Internet chat rooms. If there's a box you can type in you can do a with Naturally-speaking. It's awesome

This is an amazing program. I use it on a daily basis both to browse the web And to create Word documents you can do almost anything with your voice. Hell, sometimes I just start talking to my computer when I'm bored. It works great when you're in Internet chat rooms since it types as fast as you speak You always have the upper hand in a typing battle LOL
Does this program add in punctuations like comma's and apostrophe's? That's the main factor for me. My grammer skills are terrible and I'd want this program so I wouldn't have so many punctuation errors. Does this program add automatically the correct punctuation to complex sentences? And does it type onto like microsoft works, open office, or any writing program? Or does it have a specifc dragon writing program? And can I download it onto say my laptop and work laptop or just one? Please reply!

@ProRanting Well, yes and no. There is a feature that can be turned on for adding commas and periods. It may be OK for some people but it does make mistakes. For accuracy it would be better to have the word processor analyse the grammer. For speed, many people love the auto format feature.
Yes, Dragon works in almost any Windows based program. For programs that does not allow for proper correction, you can dictate in the the Dictation Box and then the text will get transfered.
