What kids are going to get from this: the rhyming words. The point is not True Blood or its content. For those among us who aren't anal fruitcakes, it's about an important skill for the kids who view it: rhyme (which aids in both reading and spelling.) Reading too much into this is a sad state of affairs. Sesame Street doesn't have a problem. Overly cautious helicopter parents with too much time on their hands do.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but this is a show for toddlers and babies. There should be NO adult theme. That's the problem with today's society, you all are making excuses for our kids to be exposed to early to sexual and drug references. The man said, "No I don't want a bud" short for Budweiser. You really think that's fine?? It's not fine. I'm not anal or uptight, I'm rather open minded, but Sesame Street took it too far introducing a parody off a sexual adult show and used it for kids. TRASHY!

People freaking out about a True Blood parody traumatizing children...have you ever looked to see what Sesame Street was parodying when you were a kid (and before!) and who the guest stars were? Richard Pryor, George Carlin, and Cab Calloway were far from G rated. This gets parents watching with their kids, and that's the point! I'd love to see Telly Pinkmonster and Heisenbird star in "Baking Blue", where a teacher and his student have to bake blue cookies.

Why on earth was the Count not in this? At least as a background character? It would have been nice to have had Jerry's signature character featured in one of the most memorable sketches of the season.

If any child or preschooler understands the reference, then i am afraid for their souls.

Most preschoolers aren't even going to get the reference, and therefore won't want to watch the original, not knowing there even IS an original. The bonus is put in their for parents who are roped into watching Sesame Street with their kids.
