That's Phil Williams, Knoxville radio vet, doing the voiceover. I have some old WBIR clips and newscasts on some VHS tapes that I plan to upload very soon.
I just have to get them on to DVD and get some software to convert to video files.
They range from around 1988 to the early to mid 1990s.
In fact...I may do a Knoxville TV museum that displays video clips from Knoxville television in the past.

I used to watch this show. If you have the segment where Missy Kane made a fool of herself at a Mexican restaurant [think Rose was in the name of the place], please post. She couldn't get herself out of a paper bag let alone handle a sticky situation.

oh cool. thx for the memo. That meteorologists name was Marti Scole I believe. Remener her? I only recall her cause I use to bag her groceries all the time back when I was a teenager.

WoW! Ted hall huh? I remember him. Where did he move off to? I'm surprised he moved cause he was here forever. Remeber the old head meteorologist that was a blonde woman right before Todd Howell got the spot? I often wonder where she went. However, I can't stand Moira Kaye. Personal experience I'm not gonna say. Anyways, its cool to see old vids of local things networks.
