Titanic is a made-for-TV movie that premiered on CBS in 1996. Titanic follows several characters on board the RMS Titanic when she sinks on her maiden voyage in 1912. The miniseries was directed by Robert Lieberman. The original music score was composed by Lennie Niehaus.

Amazing acting

I survived and walk past at 7:51. Catherine did a great job of this speech. She was interrupted by a float plane on one take. She had to do it about 5 times and was a real pro. This stuff was shot on a BC ferry in the Georgia Straight. The production chartered the boat and dressed one side of it to look like the Carpathia. When ready to shoot, all engines were turned off and you could hear the water lapping against the side of the ship. Very quiet...it was quite a surreal experience.
