I Wish You Love

Thanks has to go out to my 'slave' for making the video, I record and take the laid back approach whilst poor Kari is slaving away for hours!

I wish you love was written by a french songwriter Charles Trenet and the english version was first recorded in 1957 by Keeley Smith. However I think that its Nat King Cole and Dean Martin who put their stamp on this standard.

The movie clips are from 'Random Harvest' with Greer Garson and Ronald Coleman.

A very nice voice thats suites this arrangement. (Dean Martins). You should try some of the arrangements used by Nelson Riddle for Sinatra in the early sixites. Well done. PS - A very unusual but interesting arrangement of I Wish You Love is created by the Skatalites.
