  • Seems like a reasonable hypothesis that it was an asteroid strike.  Given the magnitude of this explosion, if the media said "gas line explosion" and then didn't follow up with a massive investigation on the safety of gas lines and the potential for future explosions...it makes one wonder if they knew the cause and purposely avoided digging deeper. The other problem is the gas line explosion story itself...where would natural gas collect and mix with oxygen to create such a large explosion?

  • I would agree, that is no gas explosion caused by fautly lines. That is caused by some external force, asteroid, falling rocks, whatever.... I expect we will see more of this...
