Our government pays $2,800.000/mo. to detain 400, mostly children and their moms. That averages to $7,000/per mo./per child. We are imprisoning children on the pretext of national security so that corrupt politicos can funnel OUR money into the private corporate accouts of their cronies like CCA. The money is ours. The children are innocent. It is an international crime to imprison children yet is being done with impunity on American soil in the "Heart of Texas". Evil lurks all around us!

Pretty interesting. 7K per month per child? Theres no way, that amount is just to high, the corrections budget would have to much higher. However as a Texas resident I see your concern about situation. If they are in fact illegal aliens they only get held for processing and then are bused back down south. I'm really am not concerned about the social aspects as much as I am about our tax dollars being wasted.

CCA imprisons whole families at $7000/per "head" with no questions asked, then keeps them in jail with the meter running for what, 90 days, before the courts are allowed to release them?
