I bought this casmera today. Yes the focus is out in this shot. You can use the manual focus if its too hard for the sensor to get it right in low light. Must explore the manual or fixed settings for tricky situations like this.

color is great, sound is great but focus is off. I have the same camera. Sony typically has problems with focus in low light/low contrast situations.
Also, the camera works with iMovie 09 on my Mac but Mac or PC you need a powerful computer to process and edit the H264 compression.

Yup, this DV really great. However I found that the mis-focus occured when using zoom in and out function.
All HD DV also need powerful computer for editting.

Nice man! I bought the same camera 2 months ago in Kowloon and took it with me to The Netherlands where I live :D
