Richmond Hill is perfectly located just minutes south of Savannah and 10 minutes from the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport along Interstate 95. The natural beauty of the city is hard to overstate.
The community is growing fast and is home to Fort Stewart, 3rd Infantry Division and not far from Hunter Army Airfield as well as the bustling Savannah Port, which surprisingly is the busiest seaport on the East Coast and the 4th busiest port in the United States.
The community has everything that you would expect to support a bustling growing population. Publix, Food Lion, Kroger and Wal-Mart for day to day shopping as well as hotel chains and fast food outlets.
Perhaps one of the biggest attractions to the town is the very well rated school system. But the town does not just take care of the academic needs of our children; the Richmond Hill Recreation Department insures a full line up of sport for the children - Healthy Body, Healthy Mind. Adults can get their exercise too in the form of public golf courses, tennis and miles and miles of the most scenic biking and walking trails you have ever seen! Or if you are looking for something more sedate why not visit Tybee Beach or St. Simons, either way north or south the beaches are easily accessible.
Richmond Hill boats a year round calendar of events perhaps the highlight of the year is the annual seafood festival, or the Christmas parades and it is not uncommon to see the Budweiser Clydesdales living in J.F.Gregory Park for a week or two when they are in town for the Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade.
