English Football would have been so much better for having Clough as manager and Peter Taylor as assistant. If he had been then I'm sure it would be England with all those stars over the badge instead of Germany. His legacy would have lived on through until now too I'm sure. I can't stand those who put politics before the greater good such as those at the FA. They are often detremental to English Football because of their politics.

@wazo89 True, but he set his goals very early on and achieved them in the same time it takes most managers to just get started. All he really had left on his list was the FA Cup which they would have won in 1991 if the referee had done his job and sent off Gazza.

Brian Clough. Best English manager of all time. What he achieved was incredible with so little resources. Bob Paisley was a fantastic manager as well ... both of them are true legends.
