  • my friends uncle once dove into mccovey cove to recover a barry bonds home run

  • Wasn't he running by and then then he jumped in a recovered it! I don't jump in, just grab it as I paddle by in my kayak.

  • Do you save the Splash Hits or do you make money off of them? I guess getting these balls is an interesting way to get on T.V. haha.

  • The McCovey Cove regulars are big baseball buffs and enjoy the scenery & excitment of being in the Cove. The Cove regulars called Bonds Navy will spend hours just chasing down batting practice balls. No one expects and I certainly don't of making any money. Most Splash hits are in the personal collections of the folks who have grabbed them. I made this video so I would not confuse it with dozens of other balls I have around the house.
