These are very simple exercises that can help strengthen your wrist and forearms. Many new pole dancers complain of wrist and forearm pain, strengthening the area can usually (not always) help that problem.

Please give your body time to rest, preform this exercise 2-3 times a week NOT everyday.

  • how many minutes do you have to do this for every time you do this exercise?

  • 2-3 times a week. 10-12 reps 1-3 sets

  • Your welcome guys.

  • Hi Veena,

That also helps with carpal tunnel syndrome. For any of our fellow YouTubers that spend a great deal of time on the computer, or do a repetitious job, this is perfect for that too:)

  • Good point!!

  • Thanks so much for posting that (and the one on the shoulders too). My students are always looking for ways to strength train especially if they don't have a pole at home so I had them watch this and they're really appreciative!!!!

BTW, early congrats on the baby, you look beautiful (and you make me miss being preggers) : )

  • cool how many times do you suggest we do that on each arm? this will also make my wrists stronger for massage therapy. thank you =)
