The song is in reference to a term used to describe the supporters of R*ngers anti-football club. The bhoys are die hard celtic supporters too. The drummer has a celtic scarf on his drum kit. Mon teh Mogwai!

@fuckthehuns1 Coming from fans who perpetrated the worst racial abuse ever seen at a football match in the UK at Mark Walters I'll treat your comments with the disdain they deserve, bheasts and irony, like oil and water.

Yeah you have a point mate. But I think the term merely alludes to the fact that they bring shame upon Scotland, not that Scotland as a nation carries the burden of their racist views. its just that they are the shameful part of our country.
-
@fuckthehuns1 thanks - i went and watched some youtube vids about it - it's unfortunate to label it "Scotland's" shame as though the entire country should be saddled with the responsibility for the actions of a minority
I'd hardly call American skinheads "America's shame" or the overt racism of the Republican party/tea party as "America's shame"
Shame is carried by the individual, not the nation in which they live

Its about the racist and bigoted element of the Rangers football club!
-
@romacki i think your meant to take your own meaning from it.
-
