DENVER, COLORADO and Pit Bulls... The Indisputable Truth

The Denver City Council has been protected by their "Home Rule" Authority in banning, confiscating, and euthanizing Pit Bulls since 2005. In mid-2010, they confiscated Pit Bull Service Dogs from Veterans and Disabled persons. The Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 prohibits any such action at the state or municipal level... yet the Denver City Council doesnt see it that way.
Facing multiple class action and federal law suits... The city of Denver claims their Home Rule is their ivory tower and that the Dept of Justice cant touch them. Pending legal action in 2011 will reveal all.

I got a letter from the USDOJ Yesterday on FB search for Save Our Service Animals for more info see Congress.org posting there and comments and see I got a letter today Letter Posted under it.

@LycaWatyre North Carolina... we got your back. As for your Service Dog... it's illegal for any government entity to remove any service dog... according to the ADA and Dept of Justice. The city of Denver almost found themselves on the losing end of that fight back at the beginning of the year. Like the ignorant cowards they are... they folded like a piece of paper and bow'd out of the lawsuit at the last second.

@MrTroll199 get one. You havent a clue about loyalty, unconditional love, or the GREATEST companion/ partner as a good dog. ESPECIALLY a Pit Bull.

Yes, I saw that on the news this morning. Though I dont want to see ANYONE hurt, maybe we need a little lunacy here in Denver. The stagnent/ mundane mentality here is driving me up the freakin' wall.
