This is an awesome video of Charlotte singing Bridge over trouble water, live on the Michael Parkinson's Show. Not quite sure, if I have ever seen her hair longer? She is 16 on this video and sings this song just beautifully. If you like it too, please take a chance to rate it. Thanks.
Oh nooooooo! I need a valium to get through this. This is BAD. She sounds like Minnie Mouse. She should stick to what she does best. Obviously has no clue that this song was not meant for her to sing. I had an operatic career as a lyric soprano, but could easily transfer to a pop sound. However, some songs like this, or All Good Gifts from Godspell, or the opening of Bernstein's Mass are meant to be sung by tenors ONLY!

Her voice is all technique, no emotion. Beautiful voice no doubt, but misses the entire point of the song.

Great comment, wish others would understand it.

She has a perfectly beautiful voice but is a little shouty and screechy on this song. Art Garfunkel has nothing to worry about; his is still the definitive version.

What do you want from a 16yr Charlotte? With life so beautifully ahead, not behin, would you want it different? She tried great. Jesus, I didn't feel, let alone accept sensitivity until well into my late 30's and thats before real grief (i've still got my mum, dad & children) mostly!
