@Beyoncefan1000 Christina has the most serious voice, that is scraping his voice sings as well as Etta James. But Beyonce sing it very well also.

Beyonce, technically, is a mezzo-soprano but with vocal technique she sing "At Last" with tonality of Etta James.
Etta is a legend but .... great great Beyoncé

oh and another thing, I also love Christina, but she really carried away when she sang this song and It's not as beautiful as the way Beyonce sang it!

Etta James without a doubt is one of the most amazing things that have ever happened to music, but lets give a shot for a beautiful and talented singer like Beyonce, and stop saying that she won't ever sing like Etta, well, it's impossible! every singer and his voice, Dah! so I wanna say, that there is no singer that sang this song better that this gifted young lady,so, Beyonce? you are my idol, I love you for who you are.

I really don't understand how anybody could possibly think that Christina Aguilera's rendition at Etta James's funeral (of all places) was better than this. This is hauntingly beautiful

First time I've heard this version and love it,miles better than the ghastly Aguilera distortion.
One poster on here says that soul is the whole point of the song.This song came out in 1941
and wouldn't be interpreted as a soul song then,so why now?

@Beyoncefan1000 yeah it's just my opinion. i just think she tries to hard that's all. it's not in her the way it's in jennifer hudson or christina aguilera or jill scott. again just my opinion.
