@claucieni actually, its Libyan, but Egyptians and Libyans are very merged... Qaddafi just killed this dance in Libya, so it became known as simply Egyptian.... but originates in Libya (Benghazi to be precise)

Beautiful! Our troupe has this on the long list of dances to bring back to our repetoire. Just came back from a workshop with Mahmoud in Denver, he was still as graceful as ever. Honored I got to do two days of workshop with him.
